Dr. Justin Koffi,UNFPA Resident Representative accompanies Cameroon’s Delegation comprising officials,CSO & youths led by Minister Paul Tasong, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy Planning and Regional Development at the African Population Experts Committee & Ministers in charge of Population for the 10yr review of Addis-Abeba Declaration on Population and Development.

The session convened by African Union Commission in Lusaka,Zambia runs from 7th-10th November 2023. The #AADPD is a set of commitments & recommendations adopted by African governments to support the continent’s efforts to harness the Demographic Dividend, advance Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, human rights,women empowerment,the 2063 African Union Agenda & the SDGs.

The 10yr review will be submitted to the 57th Session of the United Nations Commission on Population & Development in 2024 as Africa’s input to the global review & appraisal of the implementation of the International Conference on Population and Development Programme of Action
