The Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with UNFPA and with financing from the Islamic Development Bank, has equipped 30 maternity hospitals in the Far North, the North, Adamaoua and the East regions. This investment aims to ensure the care of pregnant women in the event of hemorrhage during childbirth. The equipment consists of blood bank refrigerators, containers for the secure transport of blood, freezers, refrigerated centrifuges, and blood donor chairs.
