UNFPA hands over materials and equipments for Emergency and Fistula Obstetrical Care, female condoms and motorbikes to the Ministry of Public Health. These materials worth over 68million FRS CFA, are destined to be distributed as follows:
Emergency Obstetrical Care: 04 Caesarean kits, 02 mini laparotomy kits, will be distributed between the district hospitals of Abongbang in the East province, Mbalmayo and Sangmelima in the Centre and Ebolowa in the South. The remaining 50 delivery and episiotomy kits, 30 complete BIRD extractors and 45 aspirator manuals will be distributed to 50 Health Centres in the Centre, South and East Provinces respectively.
Fistula Obstetrical Care: 03 Scialytics and 12 frontal lamps will be dispatched to the three provincial hospitals of the Maroua, Garoua and Ngoundere respectively.
300.000 female condoms will be distributed nationwide via ACMC (Association Camerounaise pour le Marketing Social).
